After the rain there was a beautiful sunrise over the Mohan range, and that afternoon I headed Bach
know north, but just for the evening. There was a clear afternoon and it was late autumn. Later that night was somewhat frustrating due to all the road diversions and stop goes. A late night.

Another delightful evening
It was a bit stormy this weekend also, but it is amazing how good things look when the rain stops.
Looking over to the heads
and the sun fully out, but for how long?
A stormy afternoon on the harbour
Looking at the port by night through the rain
More stormy weather
Boats sheltering
Finally the sun is out!
The old jetty across the road
Looking at the port
The bridge across the upper harbour
The old port by night.
A grey day at one of our most beautiful beaches
And then out came the sun, that is the Hen and chick's in the background.
Looking over to the heads

A stormy afternoon on the harbour
Looking at the port by night through the rain
More stormy weather
Boats sheltering
Finally the sun is out!
The old jetty across the road
Looking at the port
The bridge across the upper harbour
The old port by night.

It had been raining, the forecast was bad, so you can imagine my delight when it was a beautiful clear afternoon in the bay.
I went there to help with a fundraiser for the fire station.
I wonder what is next, the police or the hospital, but in spite of that a good time was had by all.
Marsden beach
And more Marsden beach
Looking North along Te Haumi
And again
Looking south along Te Haumi
And again, Te Haumi, part tide.
Overlooking the mooring area from the road down to the ferry The car ferry is half way over.
Looking North at all the moored craft.

Looking back at the wharf
The southern part of the wharf, looking toward the estuary
More boats moored, it's a real pastime here.
English bay, late afternoon
What a stunner!

And more Marsden beach
Looking over the water to that historic town
Looking out to the ocean
North, along to the wharf
South to the inner bay.

The beach just north of the ferry terminal

English bay, late afternoon
Looking North, part of the walkway.
Of course my contribution was the Tote, what a surprise. I certainly needed no introduction to how to do it.
Just before sunrise at Te Haumi
A stunning calm morning here
This mornings sunrise, and off home.
