It had been raining,  the forecast was bad, so you can imagine my delight when it was a beautiful clear afternoon in the bay.
I went there to help with a fundraiser for the fire station.
I wonder what is next, the police or the hospital,  but in spite of that a good time was had by all.

 Marsden beach
 And more Marsden beach
Looking over the water to that historic town

Looking out to the ocean

North,  along to the wharf

 South to the inner bay.
Te Haumi beach

  Looking North along Te Haumi
 And again
 Looking south along Te Haumi
And again, Te Haumi,  part tide.
Overlooking the mooring area from the road down to the ferry The car ferry is half way over.
Looking North at all the moored craft.
The beach just north of the ferry terminal

Looking back at the wharf

The southern part of the wharf, looking toward the estuary
More boats moored.
 English bay looking south
More boats moored, it's a real pastime here.
 English bay, late afternoon
Looking North,  part of the walkway.

Of course my contribution was the Tote, what a surprise. I certainly needed no introduction to how to do it.

 What a stunner!
Just before sunrise at Te Haumi

A stunning calm morning here

This mornings sunrise, and off home.
